BASIC COLOR SCHEMES #4

Tetrad – by combining to pairs of complimentary colors a tetrad color scheme is created.

Color wheel for reference

The combinations I decided to use on Looklet Model Marlene is BLUE-ORANGE and YELLOW-PURPLE.

On Marlene:
Earrings - Cartier
Pearl Necklace - Cartier
Star Necklace - Thomas Sabo
Long Necklace - Patrizia Pepe
Blouse - Greta
Skirt - Matthew Williamson
Bracelet - Elvira Sazesh
Heels - CH Carolina Herrera

I decided to add quite a number of jewelery pieces on Marlene just to lessen the attention draw to the color intensity of the top. I'm not indicating that it is a must, but if you were to wear this in an office setting, this "jewelery-ed" look should make you more "even-ed out".

  1. I was always "scared" to try to mix and match two different colors. Haha! Still haven't got the courage to do so.

  5. I like this, although the skirt is a little too short for me. Haha. I'm not hiding anything, I'm not just used to wearing anything too short.
